1. Self-Scheduling in MyChart

Goal:
Facilitate a seamless process for patients to request and successfully complete on-demand urgent care visits.
Approach:
Add an option for the patient to schedule an on-demand urgent care visit within the “Schedule a Visit” workflow in MyChart.
Advantage:
Patients can conveniently access and complete their healthcare visits right from the comfort of MyChart, ensuring a streamlined experience from the initial request to the final consultation.

2. Explore More Card

Goal:
Introduce additional access points in MyChart for a patient to start a video visit.
Approach:
The client MyChart team builds a video visit card in the Explore More section on the MyChart homepage.
Advantage:
This update is anticipated to increase video visit utilization as patients will view how to interact with a video visit. Patients will be able to launch a video visit with a single click.

3. Message Center Urgent Care Option

Goal:
Increase patient awareness of the availability of On Demand Video Visits.
Approach:
Add video visits/virtual urgent care link as an option in the message center.
Advantage:
Patient can access the link to virtual urgent care for faster care instead of sending a message.

4. MyChart Link for Proxy Patients

Goal:
Patients can self-direct to a video visit messaging a provider or clinic.
Approach:
Add video visits/virtual urgent care for a proxy/someone else as an option in the menu.
Advantage:
Patient can access the link for others that they may be proxy to and needing a visit for

5. InBasket Quick Action with Video Visit Link

Goal:
Increase number of video visits for routine care with ease of direction by providers when patients inquire
Approach:
To follow-up on InBasket messages with a deep link to "Talk to a Doctor” workflow, add a Quick Action command to the drop down so providers can respond to a patient inquiry with a deep link to a video visit when appropriate.
Advantage:
This approach makes it easy for providers to recommend a video visit utilizing inbasket messages.

6. Shortcut to Video Visits

Goal:
Introduce additional access points in MyChart for a patient to start a video visit.
Approach:
Add or change a shortcut option to video visits in the MyChart menu. This option should be one of the four shortcut items at the top of the MyChart screen.
Advantage:
Patients can easily see and access video visits when logged into MyChart throughout the session.
